Congratulations to Louise Glück, who just won the Nobel Prize in Literature! Hendrix looks back so fondly to her campus visit as Murphy Visiting Poet in Spring 2013. Students, faculty, and staff members remember her kind, empathetic interactions during her class visits and meals, as well as her luminous poetry. We are thrilled to celebrate this win with her. Glück has won most of the United States' literary prizes: in 2003, she was named the 12th U.S. Poet Laureate, she is a recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, and she has received many other fellowships, awards, and honors. She is the author of 12 books of poetry which have also won prizes and awards. For more information, visit poetryfoundation.org/poets/louise-gluck
